We prioritize environmentally responsible behavior and therefore offer you simple and free ways to dispose of your used electrical equipment and batteries. The consumer plays an important role in the system of waste electrical and electronic equipment and batteries disposal. It is the consumer who decides what to do with old equipment. Old and unnecessary electrical equipment and batteries do not belong in municipal waste containers. Consumers must be informed by the symbols below that the respective electrical equipment/batteries do not belong in municipal waste. All new electrical equipment and batteries are marked with these symbols. The symbol can be found directly on the device, on its packaging, or in the user manual or warranty card.
Why recycle?
Not only electrical equipment but also batteries and accumulators contain many recyclable metals such as zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, or lead. Some of these substances are also very dangerous for the environment and human health, especially mercury, lead, and cadmium. Selected batteries are often marked with the symbol of the chemical element they contain (Pb, Cd, Hg). By handing over batteries and electrical equipment to a designated return location, we save primary raw material resources, primarily through material recycling, and at the same time protect our environment from potential improper handling.
