The Growatt SPF 6000 ES Plus inverter is the optimal choice for so-called island systems without an available distribution network - a generator and/or battery can be connected to the unit as a backup energy source. This is a hybrid inverter with a sine wave output ideal for domestic and small commercial systems.

The inverter has a built-in MPPT solar controller, thanks to which you can connect a photovoltaic array with the following parameters:

• power up to 8 kW of PV (photovoltaic) array
• maximum open circuit voltage 500Voc
• maximum current 32A

The inverter can be connected to lead and lithium batteries. Of course, there are RJ45 ports for CAN/RS485 communication with BMS LiFePO4 modular batteries of brands such as Pylontech, WECO, Seplos, etc.

The inverter can also be operated without a battery, provided that it is actively connected to the distribution network. In SUB operating mode, the inverter monitors the load power and the power of the available photovoltaic source, and any missing part of the energy is supplemented from the public grid. The device allows for bypass settings, which in the event of a battery or PV array disconnection will very quickly (within 10ms) connect the inverter output to the public grid to avoid power interruption. It also supports UPS mode with switching to battery-only operation (within 10ms). The inverter contains 2x inputs for connecting solar panels.

Up to 6 inverters can be connected in parallel (with only the battery connected), which allows for a total system power of up to 36kW. The inverter can be retrofitted with a WiFi/LAN communication module for remote control and monitoring.

When operating the inverter in Solar Priority mode and without a battery, the inverter behaves as a so-called "hybrid", there is a possibility of electricity overflows into the distribution network. To eliminate these overflows, use the SBU Battery Priority mode, where when the battery lacks energy, it switches to bypass.
