The LOKITHOR LPS7-3 lithium battery with a capacity of 3Ah (38.4Wh) and a starting current of 400A is particularly suitable for motorcycles, scooters, quads, light utility vehicles of the ATV type and other applications powered by an engine of 125–500 cc.

Modern lithium batteries LOKITHOR LPS

LOKITHOR LPS lithium batteries are a modern solution for sports, touring and off-road motorcycles, road, snow and water scooters, quads and light utility vehicles of the ATV and UTV types and various other applications.

Compared to classic lead-acid batteries, they excel with higher starting power (by 40 to 60%), lower weight (savings of up to 50%) and longer service life (up to 5x, more than 2000 cycles). Practical usability is increased by fast charging, while long-term stability of the available power is supported by low self-discharge.

The batteries have a closed design, do not contain lead or sulfuric acid and do not require any maintenance. They also have high resistance to dust and moisture under the most demanding operating conditions (IP67 protection level).

Practical design, easy assembly and easy charging

Assembly in a variety of applications is facilitated by the design with plus and minus contacts (cube; opening from the front, side, top) on both sides of the battery (polarity 0, polarity 1) together with the supplied foam spacers, as well as the possibility of storage in any position (with the exception of contacts facing down).

Quick and easy connection of the charger is enabled by the included adapter (terminal SAE, USB-C) with battery charge status indicator (External Smart Power Hub). The package also includes a USB-C/USB-C cable.

One control unit, many protective functions

High operational reliability and safety are guaranteed by the built-in BMS (Battery Management System). It balances the voltage between the individual cells for the best starting performance and protects the battery against overcharging, deep discharge, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit and thermal load due to overheating or undercooling.

Deep discharge of the battery is automatically prevented by three modes depending on the current voltage and usage (Standby, Low-Power, Sleep). In the event of automatic shutdown as protection against damage due to deep discharge, the battery can be simply turned on with a button, by starting charging or via the LOKITHOR application. Damage to the battery from starting at low temperatures is automatically prevented by its internal preheating (up to -40 °C), which can also be started via the LOKITHOR application.

Bluetooth connection, LOKITHOR application

The battery can be connected to the LOKITHOR mobile application via built-in Bluetooth. Operating parameters such as state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), voltage, current, temperature, number of cycles and number of starts are available here, including their history and export option (Battery History Report).

The application is also used to identify the causes of unusual situations, suggest solutions and diagnose (Smart Diagnostics). It also allows remote control of the battery for switching on/off (protection against deep battery discharge), output blocking (protection against unauthorized motorcycle starting) and starting internal preheating (protection against battery damage from starting at low temperatures).

Multiple LOKITHOR batteries can be managed simultaneously in the application (Multi-Battery Management).
